Six User Personae

Looking at people and how they find their way around webpages -

Personae #1:

Looking at Haiyan Zhang -

Paper testing Haiyan's role through Stuff.co.nz -

"Find where you would find local-Wellington news items"

Personae #2:

Looking at Hemi Kamana -

Paper testing Hemi's role through Stuff.co.nz -

"Find something Hemi can listen to and watch whilst he exercises"

Reflection on this, there isn't much selection on stuff for people to listen to, this could be an empty subject matter where a large market of consumers may prefer to listen to the news. Not all the news has videos and the videos in these areas are often only 30 seconds long.

Personae #3:

Looking at Mike Richards -

Paper testing Mike's role through Stuff.co.nz -

"Find where Mike can read and see all of the news and keep up to date with the news"

Personae #4:

Looking at Sarah Blake -

Paper testing Mike's role through Stuff.co.nz -

Personae #5 - Andrea Pasmandi

Andrea reads very straight forward with her access on the PC. She would go onto the Stuff page and select sport then read through those sections and specifically look into the Rugby and Netball Sections.

Personae #6 - Barry Down

Barry is someone who still has a big input into discussions around news. He is a journalist and loves to read and use comment sections below political articles.
His user journey would be home > national > politics and select from there what he is interested in. Or if he was looking at world news he would select world then politics.

Some issues I have discovered when placing myself in the readers position which I could consider in my webpage:
